Over the years Limona has skillfully worked with individuals and their architects and designers to craft special homes for their specific wants and needs. Several of these properties have earned awards and recognition from the community and the building industry through the “CARE Awards” program of the Canadian Home Builders Association. The photos below are CARE Award winners from 2007 & 2008.

Building on the heralded successes of their Thetis Vale Phase I & II neighbourhoods, followed by The Terraces at Thetis Vale, Limona continues with The Plateau. This new neighbourhood is only a short walk from Thetis Lake Park, a very popular swimming and hiking area on Vancouver Island, and steps away from The Galloping Goose Trail, a great 37 kilometer walking trail and bike connector to downtown Victoria.

The project has been sensitively carved out of a delightful forested hilltop and features 46 single family properties in 6,500 to 9,000 square foot lots. The heritage-themed homes (10 plans to choose from) range from 1,900 to 2,600 square feet and several are designed to incorporate a legal suite.

The Plateau was awarded awarded the 2008 Gold Care Award for the Best Planned Neighbourhood of single family homes. Also, Limona was recognized as the Builder of the Year for 2006 & 2008 under the Built Green BC program (hyperlinks to awards page).

FUTURE PROJECTS:

This much anticipated neighbourhood terraced above The Plateau is expected in mid 2009 and hasn’t been named yet. It will feature 43 executive-styled elegant townhomes averaging close to 2,000 square feet. All homes will include a double garage, high end finishing details, such as wood floors, cabinets and granite counter tops. Many homes will have outlooks towards the Olympic Mountains and others will back onto a forested nature park connected to the popular Mill Hill Park. Pricing is anticipated to start in the Low $400’s..
